Dominic Widdows

Dominic Widdows is a research scientist at LivePerson, with many years of contributions to mathematics, AI, and NLP, particularly as a researcher at Oxford and Stanford and a software engineer / data scientist at Google, Microsoft, and Grab. In commercial NLP he's worked on applications including search, ontology learning, information extraction, machine translation, and keyword targeting. His biggest research area has been in building and exploring semantic word vector models, including applying models based on quantum logic and entanglement to relation extraction and reasoning, and writing and supporting open source projects including Infomap NLP, SemanticVectors, and semvecpy.
