Mark Field

Prinicpal Scientist Rigetti

Mark Field is principal scientist at Rigetti Computing working on the fabrication and test of superconducting quantum processors. He was previously a senior scientist at Teledyne Scientific & Imaging working on spins in semiconductors, mm-wave vacuum tubes, and chip-scale mm-wave phased arrays, and has held positions at SLAC, Symyx Technologies, University of California Santa Barbara and Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge. Mark has a BA in physics from Cambridge University, a Master’s degree in Microelectronics and Computer Engineering from the University of Surrey, and a Ph.D in physics from Cambridge University.
