Principal Specialist Amazon Braket (AWS)

Michael Brett is SVP of Applications at Rigetti Computing and is leading the company’s application development mission to connect customers and their use cases to Rigetti’s quantum cloud service. 

An expert in complex systems, he has extensive experience developing and accelerating adoption of early-stage technologies and delivering projects in aerospace, defence, and data analytics.The applications team at Rigetti focuses on analysis of challenging analytics problems for finance, insurance and technology customers, applying expertise in quantitative analytics with quantum computing technology. 

Michael holds an Executive Master of Business in Complex Project Management and Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Avionics, both from Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of QxBranch, which was acquired by Rigetti in July 2019.
